What happens to my backups if I cancel my server or the backup add-on?

Your data's safety is important, even when you decide to leave. Here is our policy regarding backups for cancelled services:

• Cancelling the Backup Add-on: If you cancel only the backup add-on but keep your main server, the automated backup schedule will be immediately deactivated. Your existing backups will be kept on our storage servers for 7 days. After this 7-day grace period, they will be permanently deleted. This gives you a chance to download any data or reconsider before the backups are removed.


• Cancelling the Main Server: If you cancel your main VPS/RDP service, the associated backup add-on is also cancelled. The same 7-day retention policy applies.
